Footballer's Wages ?

I have just been reading about the structure players demand when they sign for other clubs . I was amazed to find out that Erling Haaland is on a income of some £540 Thousand pounds per week ! His club Man C , are none to happy with his release clause that after two seasons he can leave for a mere £176 million pounds , AND there is the rub , Man C want that clause deleted ,but the player at the momemnt and his manager do not want to erase it . I have to admit yes the guy is worth a lot of hackers but i did not think City would ever pay that sort of wage especially after UNited's £500,thousand for Ronaldo , I have always said that NO player whoever he is ,is worth that sort of money ,and could this be one of the many problems that is facing the football world ??? What do you on WW think about these vast pay slips per week ?? I would be interested to know ! G.B.

I read today that Ronaldo is on 200 million quid a year for his Arab club. The top three highest payed sports players are all footballers, 1 Ronaldo 2 Messi 3 Mbape all on over 100 million per year. Unless they find a way to cap salaries pro football will be dead inside 10yrs!

Jimmy Hill and George Eastham who got rid of the maximum wage must be turning in their graves with what they have now created for just kicking a ball around a football field!
